Roles: Graduate Geo-Environmental & Geotechnical Consultants and Graduate Remediation Engineers.

Locations: Bradford, Newark, Manchester or Crawley

About the role

The role combines field and office work. In the field, you'll work outdoors in all weather, liaising
with contractors and clients, ensuring Health & Safety compliance and in the office you’ll keep
projects on track through diligent reporting and monitoring.

Graduates receive full training, including in-house and external courses, on-the-job experience,
and mentorship from our team.

Responsibilities include:

What you could be doing:

  • Gas and groundwater monitoring.
  • Logging of soil and bedrock.
  • Assisting with and supervising ground investigations.
  • Preparing health and safety documentation.
  • Interpretation of laboratory results.
  • Sampling of soil/rock/groundwater and scheduling samples for chemical and geotechnical laboratory testing.
  • Undertaking Preliminary Risk Assessment (Phase I) and Geo-environmental Assessment (Phase II) reporting.

What we are looking for

  • A graduate (or near-graduate) in Geography, Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnics or a related field.
  • Someone who's equally at home in muddy boots or in front of a screen.
  • A self-starter who asks questions and thinks on their feet.
  • A team-player with good problem-solving instincts and strong communication skills.
  • Full UK (manual) driving licence - essential.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and pick up new specialist skills.
