New Team Members (2)-2

The new team are the perfect addition to Geo2 as we advance our land quality, ground risk and geotechnical services; building and supporting our existing team.

Geo2 is a leading provider of brownfield and contaminated land solutions, delivering developer confidence to difficult sites. Our specialised services identify and characterise contaminated land and geo-environmental risk, designing intelligent and practical solutions. We pride ourselves on the removal or treatment of contamination from soil and water with the goal of reducing risks to human health and the environment, championing sustainable development, minimising landfill and regenerating former industrial land. The addition of these new services helps us deliver bigger and better on these goals.

Catering to a diverse clientele, Geo2 serves landowners, developers, forecourt chains and architects, particularly focusing on forecourt and ground remediation. Our extensive expertise ensures adept handling of contaminated land, providing comprehensive solutions.

The company has earned its success to date through hard work and word of mouth. We want to help as many people as possible, making the UK and beyond a healthier, happier place. Land remediation should no longer be seen as an unwelcome obstacle to development, but as part and parcel of the regeneration of our communities and the environment, helping to build a shared sustainable future.

The new team bring multi-disciplinary geo-environmental guidance including environmental and ground risk assessment, contaminated land management, geotechnical engineering design, environmental due diligence and environmental, social and governance strategy, and pre-acquisition advice, and cost appraisal.

Mark Swindells

Founder and Director Mark Swindells has commented “We are absolutely elated to be welcoming seven new people to the Geo2 family. It’s been an ambition for some time now to expand the team and really embed environmental risk management into the business. We want to be a one stop shop for all things contamination, so we really are a full service offering to our clients. The new team bring experience in ground related liabilities, constraints and opportunities arising from contamination, ground stability and geotechnical issues which are areas of the business we needed to strengthen.”

Richard Lawless

Richard Lawless has commented “I am really pleased to be part of Geo2 as they transition to strengthen their geotechnical environmental expertise. The new team have a wealth of experience and expertise and will offer fully integrated geotechnical and environmental consultancy.

It’s a real privilege to be joining Geo2 who have such an excellent reputation for providing great client care alongside their innovative technical remediation solutions.  In widening our service offering to include the full range of land quality, contamination and geotechnical consultancy we will ensure we retain and enhance the great client experience, while striving for the best outcomes for our clients and the environment”.
