Location: Bradford, with flexibility to travel nationwide for on-site projects and occasionally overseas

Salary: £35k - £40k per annum

The role

Reporting to the lead engineer and senior project mangers, this is a hands-on operational role. Responsible for building, maintaining and developing both new and existing remediation plant, as well as installing and deploying this equipment. You will also manage and maintain the company’s plant and equipment to ensure it remains operational and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Engineer to assist in tender and feasibility work for remediation projects and system design.
  • Work with project managers to develop and resource treatment systems for specific projects.
  • Install, manage and optimise operating remediation plants and projects located nationwide and on occasion, overseas.
  • Support the team in undertaking research and development projects.
  • Ensure plant and equipment is fit for use.
  • Quarantine, repair or schedule maintenance on damaged equipment.
  • Implement health and safety policy.
  • Be a professional and courteous representative of the company.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Undertake any tasks as could be reasonably expected, this may entail work beyond contracted hours within reason.


About you

  • We are seeking candidates with solid engineering experience, regardless of sector background.
  • A self-starter who asks questions and thinks on their feet.
  • A team-player with good problem-solving instincts.
  • Full UK (manual) driving licence - essential.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and pick up new specialist skills.
