Geo2 officially welcomes Ugne into the fold, another fresh-faced Science graduate from Leeds University.
Having successfully gained a BSc in Environmental Science and a proficiency in four languages, Ugne is adding Contaminated Land and Remediation, plus speaking Driller to her already impressive skills set. She has undertaken gas and groundwater monitoring, site investigations of petrol stations and writing technical reports. Using her knowledge of graphic design, she has even produced an award winning poster about DNAPL.
Originally from Lithuania, Ugne came to England to study and broaden her horizons. In addition to visiting the usual locations of interest she has learnt about places decidedly ‘off-the-beaten track’ thanks to projects in as far afield as Bury, rural Yorkshire, Anglesey, Luton, Middlesbrough, Cumbria and Scotland. Here’s to more exciting projects in the future.
